There’s so much to do, see, learn, and shop for at the Raleigh Home Show, September 9-11 at the Raleigh Convention Center. To better help guests plan their visit here’s a list of the top 5, you’ve-got-to-see, can’t-be-missed features this weekend:

1. The Great Outdoors. Enjoy outdoor living at its finest when you explore the Raleigh Home Show. Check out Luxury Living Scapes Inc. and RB Landscaping as they showcase the latest in their “outdoor living showrooms” on both sides of the show - large, lush outdoor living spaces that showcase the hottest trends and products. You'll find tons of ideas and inspiration for your space.

2. The Recipe Cooking Stage Presented by The News & Observer and built by Kitchen Recreations. The kitchen is the heart of the home - and it’s the heart of the Raleigh Home Show. Each day, local and regional chefs will demonstrate recipes for guests just in time for the upcoming holiday entertaining season. The best part? Samples!

3. Hero Day. We salute our community’s heroes on Friday, September 9 with Hero Day. All Active and retired military personnel, teachers, and first responders will receive complimentary admission to Raleigh Home Show on this date. Valid ID is required. USO of North Carolina will be represented in the lobby at the show. Click here to learn more about this organization, and here to donate.

4. Homegrown Marketplace. The Raleigh Home Show has designed a special space filled with a selection of carefully curated boutique offerings from artisans, craftspeople, and boutique businesses representing the Greater Triangle Region. All of the companies in this neighborhood offer their products for purchase, so guests can get a head start on holiday shopping from local purveyors.

5. *NEW* The Resting Round. All new this fall is The Resting Round sponsored by Wells Fargo. This new space is designed for relaxation and created from upcycled materials by the local American Society of Interior Designers. Located at the center of the show, this oasis is designed for guests to sit, relax and sip on coffee in the morning.
